A frequently utilized approach, and one in which research supports, is called cognitive behavior therapy (CBT). This involves modifying dysfunctional thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. CBT has been shown to help with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, and personality dysfunction. Other modalities are also applied depending on the age and presenting problem of the person.
We offer couples, family, and individual therapy across the lifespan.
Psychotropic medication can be an essential component or helpful adjunct to treatment. It has proven to be effective to treat a variety of mental health conditions.
